The Business Education program provides students with the skills and knowledge needed for college, the workplace, and beyond. The mission of the business department is to:
- Prepare young adults for college and their future role as productive citizens.
- Assist students with preparation for academic programs in business as these programs are the leading college major in the United States
- Train students on the skills demanded by employers in the workplace
- Develop students to be prepared for the personal and financial requirements and responsibilities they will encounter as adults
- Provide an educational environment with state-of-the-art instruction and technology administered by knowledgeable and dedicated staff members
- Assist with the arrangement of internships with local professionals
- Offer extracurricular opportunities through the Mock Trial Club, as well as
a Business and Investing Club, Career Internship Program; Work Experience
Program; Job Shadow Opportunities; and Professional Guest Speakers in a
variety of professional career clusters
