At the beginning of this year, there were 68 stadiums or arenas housing those teams for which publicly traded companies bought the naming rights. Since 1996, Ira Malis, who retired in 2013 after a distinguished career in Finance (see Appendix 1), has been tracking the performance of the stocks of those companies.
