Course Description:
Personal Law will provide students with a legal perspective on both new concepts and topics that may be somewhat familiar. Emphasis is placed upon current and relevant topics that will enhance student understanding about the legal point of view and examine some of the rights and responsibilities we have as individuals.
This is a 1 semester course that upon its successful completion will earn students ½ unit of high school credit.
The topics to be covered during the semester will include, but are not limited to the following:

Course Supplies:
Students are expected to bring all supplies/materials to class everyday, unless instructed otherwise. It is the students responsibility to ensure that items distributed in class are maintained in an orderly fashion and submitted for review and grading on time. If a students is absent from class, items provided during class will be placed in a designated place or given to the students at the next class that attended.
- 1 or 2 subject Notebook
- 2 Pocket Folder
- Pens and/or Pencils
- Textbook - to be supplied by the school
